Introducing the Grace Margin
Dear Friends,
Welcome to The Grace Margin, the Kaleidoscope Institute's new Substack. We wanted to take a moment to say hello to our new subscribers. We're expanding how we share our newsletters, and as one of our newsletter subscribers, we're delighted you're here.
When we begin something new—whether it's a facilitated gathering or a new piece of writing—we like to begin with prayer. As you step into The Grace Margin, receive this blessing:
May you be held in courage, supported by truth, guided by grace, and empowered by the community around you. May your presence be luminous and transformative. Together, let us build something beautiful, bold, and true.
What can you expect to find here, besides blessings? The pieces currently published explore truth-telling, gracious leadership, authentic relationships, and transformative presence. Moving forward, you'll also find poetry and prayer, invitations into practices like lectio divina, and practical information about resources available through Kaleidoscope.
This is a space crafted intentionally to hold courageous ideas, gentle reflection, and honest dialogue. And yes, sometimes we all need a blessing, so you'll always find blessings here, too.
To start our journey together, we invite you to read "Feathers, Fire, and Family Stories," a reflection on cultural appreciation, belonging, and the humble practice of listening. You can read it here.
I'm Sarah, and I’ll be guiding this space. I’ll be sharing reflections, stories, and tools from the Kaleidoscope Institute, along with insights from others on this journey. I’m so glad you’re here and I invite you not just to read but to actively co-create and participate.
The Grace Margin is yours, too.
Our community thrives through co-creation. If you feel moved to share a reflection, a prayer, a poem, or an experience that embodies Kaleidoscope’s mission, send us your submission. Your voice, your courage, and your heart are essential to the community we are building at the Kaleidoscope Institute.
With gratitude,
Sarah
